Operations Supervisor (West Street Chilled Water)

We have a career opportunity for a Operations Supervisor (West Street Chilled Water) to join our team!

Oversee daily plant operations including planning and supervising plant operating personnel. Oversees work performed, coordinates outages and develops personnel schedules to complete assigned jobs safely and on time.

This position is located at Citizens Energy Group at 350 S. West St, Indianapolis, IN 46225.

Salary Minimum:$84,200 (Grade 10)

• Oversee the daily plant operations. Includes responding to personnel in field as needed. Identifying abnormal equipment conditions and initiating corrective actions, performing plant walk-through, reviewing plant logs and records, confirming materials on hand for pending and future jobs, managing contracted work onsite
• All other office functions pertaining to the daily operations of the department including entry, personnel issues, writing reports for repair requests, and closing out completed jobs.
• Oversee the maintenance, inspections, and repairs of Chilled Water distribution system.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to employees; train and evaluate employees.
• Coordinating work groups to complete jobs based on levels of importance.
• Monitor quality of Chilled Water and Tower water systems by controlling chemical treatment of water and adding proper chemicals
• Responsible for SCADA security, hardware, software, and programming.

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Chilled Water Division
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years in a supervisory/management position, preferably in a plant or related environment.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license
• Basic Computer Skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Trade school or Military training in industrial maintenance or power plant operations Supervisor or leadership training
• Foxboro I/A process control systems training
• High level of communication skills both written and verbal Strong problem-solving skills.
