Overview

We have a career opportunity for a Engineer I to join our team!

 

The UGS Engineer plans, designs, prepares drawings and specifications, coordinates, schedules, 
supervises and evaluates engineering projects related to injection and withdrawal of gas 
into/from storage. Creates operating procedures for new and existing compressor, dehydration, 
and purification equipment. Assists Environmental Stewardship with SPCC, UST, air permit 
compliance and annual chemical inventory submissions. Assists UGS Management with various
compliance activities.

Minimum Salary: $68,300 (Grade 8)

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct all tasks associated with the assigned 
    engineering projects.
  • Create operating procedures for new and existing compressor, dehydration, 
    and purification equipment.
  • Assist Environmental Stewardship with environmental compliance activities.
  • Assist UGS Management with PHMSA compliance activities.
  • Manage UGS fleet inventory.
  • Manage Boiler and Pressure Vessel compliance activities.

Qualifications

  • Must possess not less than BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an 
    accredited college or university; however, consideration would be given to candidate 
    possessing a BS in an equivalent field of study.
  • 2 years of related experience or 1 year of Citizens experience.
  • Must have and maintain a State of Indiana, Bureau of Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
  • Must pass and participate in the random Drug & Alcohol program in accordance with 
    Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administrative 192 requirements.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experienced in computer software in a Windows environment, Microsoft Office 
    applications, and Oracle databases.
  • Ability to work in office and field environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage various tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
