We have an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Electrical Technician II to join our team!    Work schedules are fixed and rotating shifts as needed to provide 24 hour coverage 7 days a week. The incumbent is responsible for performing scheduled electrical maintenance and minor repair of all electrical equipment necessary to maintain safe continuous operations of wastewater treatment plants and lift stations. Incumbent must have working knowledge of the wastewater process and  proper handling of wastewater liquids and solids. The position requires skills and the ability to maintain and repair various equipment and parts including, but not limited to; switchgears, motor control centers, motors, motor starters, motorized valves, electrical components, programmable logic controllers, wiring, circuits, conduit (for voltages ranging from 120 to 4160, to 13.8 switchgear). Position coordinates with Operations to perform equipment maintenance and repair.  The incumbent is responsible for mentoring and training personnel with less experience in areas of the incumbent’s expertise (i.e. Electrical Technician I). We have an exciting career opportunity for an Instrumentation Technician Level I/II to join our team!    The Instrumentation Technician Level I is the entry level electronics and instrumentation position within in the Wastewater Treatment Division.  The incumbent should have prior experience, education or demonstrated ability for this type of work.  They work under the direction of the Area Maintenance Supervisor and receive technical instruction and guidance from the Instrumentation Technician Level II and Control System Technician.  Work schedules are fixed and rotating shifts as needed to provide 24-hour coverage 7 days a week.  The position is responsible for and requires the necessary skills to test, calibrate, and repair various types of equipment including, but not limited to, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic controllers, incineration and air emissions controls, gas analyzers, density meters, flow meters, pressure transmitters, pH probes, dissolved oxygen, ammonia and dissolved solids analyzers, ultraviolet light transmittance meters, turbidity meters and various other types of transmitters and level controllers.. Instrument Technicians also troubleshoot and repair minor control system problems including control wiring and electrical control devices.  The instrument technician will also perform basic troubleshooting of existing PLC and HMI programs and works with the other trades to solve technical challenges.  The position is also required to have the knowledge and skill to work near voltages ranging from 4volts up to 4,160and is responsible for communicating, requesting, and applying Lock-Out-Tag-Out to equipment for repair and or maintenance. We have Full-time and Part-time Opportunities for Customer Support Associates! Part-time Schedule: Training Schedule can be 40 hours a week for approximately 4 weeks, but can vary. You will be responsible for monitoring computer aided dispatching (CAD) system for work assignment and field status. Monitor and responds to field technician’s issues and inquires on the dispatch radio and phone systems. Very important part of the role will be after Call Center business hours, assist with external customer calls for emergency gas, water and sewer situations to include leaks, overflows and service outages.
